ITINERARY
DAY 01: SRINAGAR
On arrival in Srinagar, take a transfer to the hotel or to the Superior Houseboats. In the afternoon, enjoy a shikara ride on the lake.

DAY 02: SRINAGAR - LOCAL SIGHTSEEING (27 KMS)
After breakfast, visit the famous Mughal Gardens, Cheshma Shahi (Royal Spring), Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), the Mughals laid out in the 16th century. These fall along the banks of the Dal Lake in the heart of Srinagar city. Visit Shankaracharya Temple located on a hillock, thus providing panoramic views of the city, along with views of the famous Dal Lake & River Jehlum. Enroute, visit handloom centre famous for production of pashmina/ shahtoos shawls & carpets reckoned all over the world. Spend the evening at leisure with Shikara rides (on your own) at Dal Lake. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 03: SRINAGAR-GULMARG-SRINAGAR (112 KMS)
Leave after breakfast for a full day’s excursion to Gulmarg. This meadow of wild flowers lies in the west of Srinagar at a distance of 56 kms. On an altitude of 2730 mts. above sea level, enjoy views of the snow-capped mountains are all around and even a view of Nanga Parbat on a clear sunny day. This is the Premier winter sports Ski resort with one of the world's highest 18 hole golf courses. For joy seekers, there is a cable car upto Alpather via Khilanmarg by Asia's long run cable car ride (approx. 5 kms). Return to hotel in the evening. Overnight stay at hotel in Srinagar.

DAY 04: DEPART SRINAGAR
Leave after breakfast for a tour of Srinagar city (old/new city) & proceed to Srinagar airport to board the scheduled flight for onward destination.
