We liked the place - the beach was pristine and less crowded. The hotel is more or less okay, but the cottages are very dark and depressing.
Most positive thing was the location and the proximity to the beach. The beach itself was wonderful.
The ambience of the Hotel was good. Their website said that they had a casino, but it appears it was closed some months back.
Food was served on buffet, and was reasonably good. Breakfast was very good. But the lunche and dinner menu was a little monotonous. The evenings are better spent at the food joints on the beache, we particularly liked John's.
Rooms - We had the superior room with a good view of the sea and the beach, The room was clean and room service was good. The only problem was that they did not have double bed, they just joined two single beds, so there was split in between. They did not even have double blankets. After paying 24600/-, I expected a better hospitality - for instance a double mattress or at least a double blanket.
On our arrival, the hotel did not provide pickup. We waited at the airport long enough, before we took a taxi. The hotel staff said that they had sent someone, maybe we did not see them at the airport. However, they did arrange the drop back to the airpot for departure.
Perhaps we would like to go back to the beach late in future, but Bogamollo Beach Resort will not be the first choice for accommodation.
