Coorg. Located amidst imposing mountains in Karnataka with a perpetually misty landscape, Coorg is a popular coffee producing hill station. It is popular for its beautiful green hills and the streams cutting right through them.
Coorg. One of the most beautiful places in Karnataka, Coorg is known as the 'Scotland of India', where you can see coffee plantations as far as your eyes go. A small and rather unexplored hill station, Coorg offers a pristine charm to visitors and fills their souls with the sweet aroma of coffee.
Tour Guests will arrive at Bengaluru Airport as per their Scheduled flight. Upon arrival they will meet Holiday Mantra manager at the airport and proceed to Mysore – known as The City of Palaces, is the second fastest growing city in Karnataka after Bengaluru. We visit Brindavan Gardens – famous for its symmetric design and illuminate terrace gardens. Here we enjoy musical fountains. Later we have a short meet and greet session.
Today we explore Mysore city, we visit Mysore Palace – a historical palace and the official residence of the Wadiyar dynasty who ruled the Kingdom of Mysore, Mysore Zoo – one of the oldest and most famous zoos in India and home to a wide range of species, Mysore Sand Sculpture Museum – only museum in India that is dedicated to sand sculptures. Later we visit Nandi Bull Statue – more than 350 years old is one of the oldest icons in Mysore, Shri Chamundeshwari Temple – a 17th century temple dedicated to goddess Durga. We then witness the Mysore Palace illumination in the night (subject to operation).
Today we proceed to Coorg – The Scotland of India. En route we visit Tibetan Monastery and Tibetan Market at Bylekuppe. Later we visit The Hanging Bridge at Cauvery Nisargdhama. Here we also visit Bird Park and spend some peaceful time.
Today we visit Dubare Elephant Camp, which is primarily an elephant-capturing and training camp of the forest department at the edge of Dubare forest. Experience White Water Rafting at Dubare Camp (Sub to operation). We then enjoy a walking tour of coffee plantation followed by a visit to Abbey waterfalls – nestled between coffee and spice plantations, the waterfall is a combination of many streams that come together and fall into a pool of water that flows and merge into River Kaveri, Raja’s seat – it offers a breath-taking view of towering hills, green valleys, studded with paddy fields.
Today we proceed to Bengaluru . Enroute we visit Channapatna – City of Wooden Toys, where toy story comes to life. Here we can visit the craft workshop and explore unique wooden souvenirs and much more.
Today we visit Tipu Sultan’s summer palace – an example of Indo-Islamic architecture and was the summer residence of the Mysorean ruler Tipu Sultan.
