The only active volcanic region of India is 'Baron Island'. The island is about 3 km. It has been extended. It is located in the 'Bay of Bengal', about 500 kilometers northeast of Port Blair, the capital of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The eruption on the volcano here took place after almost 180 years of silence. These explosions occurred in 1991, 1994-95 and 2005. During this explosion, lava continued to flow until 2006. It can only be seen after obtaining permission from the forestry department.
Best time to visit Andaman - November to May is regarded as the best time to visit Andaman and Nicobar as the climate remains cool at that time. However, monsoon season is not favorable to visit Andaman.
