Hampi, the city of ruins, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Situated in the shadowed depth of hills and valleys, Hampi is a very significant historical place in Karnataka and a delight for travellers.
Chikmagalur is knownfor its stunning natural beauty. It is surrounded by lush green hills, coffee plantations, and waterfalls. Chikmagalur is home to several beautiful waterfalls, including the Hebbe Falls, Jhari Falls, and Kalhatti Falls. These waterfalls offer a refreshing escape. Tour Guests will arrive at Bengaluru Airport as per their Scheduled flight. Upon arrival they will meet Holiday Mantramanager at the airport and proceed to Hassan. En route we visit Shravanabelagola to see statue of lord Bahubali (Gomteshwara). In the evening we have a short meet and greet session.
Today we proceed to Belur- the quaint little town is set elegantly on the banks of river Yagachi, here we visit Chennakeshava Temple- The Magnificent shrine dedicated to Lord Vijayanarayan, one of the twenty four incarnations of Vishnu. Then we drive towards Halebid and visit Hoysaleswara Temple- a 12 century Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the evening we arrive at Hampi- an ancient village dotted with numerous ruined temple complexes from the Vijayanagara Empire.
Today we explore Hampi - Classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, it is also the “World’s Largest Open-air Museum” We experience an Auto rickshaw tour to explore the most iconic sights of Hampi. We see Virupaksha Temple, Vitthala Temple and the Stone Chariot followed by a visit the underground Shiva temple, Royal centre (Queen’s Bath, Lotus mahal) and the Elephant Stables. Further we visit Lakshmi Narasimha Temple- one of the most imposing sculptures found in the ruined town of Hampi. In the evening we have some free time for shopping.
Today we proceed to Badami- a masterpiece sculpted out of ancient red sandstone. Upon arrival we visit Badami Caves and Bhutnatha Group of Temples. Further we visit Pattadakal- UNESCO World Heritage site to see the grand Vipruksha Temple. Followed by visit the 5th century stone temples at Aihole- once the capital of Chalukya Dynasty known for intricate stonework. Further we proceed back to Hampi
Today we enjoy a Coracle ride to experience the Hippie Side of Hampi followed by a visit to Anegundi Village - UNESCO Heritage Historical Village. Further we witness a beautiful sunset from Hemkuta hill
Today we proceed to Chikmagalur- known as the ‘Coffee Land of Karnataka’ en-route we visit Chitradurga- The name Chitradurga means ‘picturesque fort’ in Kannada, and true to its name, this place offers stunning views of the nearby hills and a calm, tranquil environment.
Today we visit Honnamana Halla falls and capture the astounding views. We then explore the majestic views of Chikmaglur from Mullayangiri Peak. Further we drive through the twisty Western Ghats. Later in the afternoon we visit one of the lush Coffee plantations and a Coffee Museum- Brown coloured fresh coffee beans being sun-dried are a common sight here.
Today we proceed to Bangalore. Upon arrival we visit Tipu Sultan’s summer palace – an example of Indo-Islamic architecture and was the summer residence of the Mysorean ruler Tipu Sultan.
