Pahalgam

Located in the heart of the beautiful Lidder Valley, in the Anantnag District of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, the hill station of Pahalgam is a popular tourist destination. It stands at an altitude of 2740 metres and serves as an excellent base from which to explore the stunning surrounds. This charming village is set amidst lush unspoilt valleys, majestic mountains, and alpine woodlands. Visitors can look forward to a number of wonder activities including: playing a round of high-altitude golf at the Pahalgam Golf Course, a highlight with golf enthusiasts; white water rafting down the crystal-clear waters of Lidder River, and hiking through Pahalgam’s impressive Himalayan snow-capped peaks.

Srinagar

Srinagar, lying on the banks of the Jhelum River in the Kashmir Valley, is the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. Sometimes referred to as the ‘Venice of the East’, this city’s main drawcard is the serene Dal Lake, which offers mirror images of the exquisite surrounding peaks and brightly coloured houseboats. Visitors can meander through the terraced hillsides of the 400-year-old Mughal Gardens, which are strung out over several kilometres further east around the lake; visit the Jamia Masjid, one of the most sacred mosques in India, deep in the heart of the old city; or trek up to Shankaracharya Temple, a sacred Hindu site dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Sonamarg

Situated in the Ganderbal District in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, Sonamarg is a picturesque hill station set at an altitude of 2730 metres. The name says it all, Sonamarg, meaning ‘ Golden Meadow’ is encircled by snow-capped mountains meeting azure skies. Sonamarg is known for its spectacularly scenic beauty, which is reminiscent of the movie 'The Sound of Music' featuring similar rolling meadows against a magnificent backdrop. It serves as an excellent base for visitors to explore the stunning surroundings. Visitors can trek up to the famous Thajiwas Glacier, explore several picturesque mountain lakes along the popular lake hiking route, and join the seasonal pilgrimage to the sacred Amarnathji Yatra Temple, which is an amazing natural cave.
