Genting Highlands

Situated in the Titiwangsa Mountains, just northeast of Kuala Lumpur, Genting Highlands is a high-altitude integrated hill resort and entertainment theme park. A huge, brightly-coloured complex of shops, restaurants, casinos, live music venues, and event arenas lies within the green, fog-decorated peaks. Visitors can enjoy luxury spas, shopping malls, an 18-hole golf course, and more in a contrastingly wild environment of thick jungle. The Awana SkyWay (a 2.8 kilometre-long gondola ride) - provides a leisurely - if not a little adrenaline-inducing - way to soak up the views. Other highlights include the Skytropolis Theme Park, offering rides and games for both children and adults; the SkySymphony Theatre of Light and Sound, the largest kinetic light-sound display in Asia; and Chin Swee Caves Temple, a grand piece of statement architecture allowing spectacular views over the valleys.
